In New York City, you don't grocery shop, you grocery order. Then some nice people bring it to you, you unpack it and voila! No carrying heavy bags in the cold for blocks! Great produce selection! 8.5 pound boneless pork shoulders! Ok... so we only needed 1 pound of shoulder. Any good ideas for the leftovers?

Gee...how cool is that! Wonder if we could start a trend like that here in Texas?
ReplyDeletepulled pork! carnitas! yum!
ReplyDeleteGreat service and could totally understand not wanting to lug groceries like that! I think peppers are so pretty (weird, I know), and I second the pulled pork - makes great sandwiches, too. My husband usually smokes one of those things and freezes the leftovers, puts them in a crock pot with some barbeque sauce (or sauce of your choice), turns out great!
ReplyDeleteGroceries to the door, I could handle that!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot and as we say in Germany "Guten Appetit" (it's what you wish everyone before you start your meal, loosly translated I suppose it means "enjoy your meal")
CU tomorrow
